Backend systems,
engineered to last.
I build the CRMs, APIs and automation that businesses run on — high-performance, security-first backends in PHP, Go and Node.js. Independent since 2010.

The interface is the easy part. I work on what runs underneath it.
I'm İsmail Atila, a backend engineer based in İstanbul. I've been building for the web since 2010, and over the years I've focused on the systems running beneath the interface — where the real complexity lives: data models, business logic, performance and integrations.
Today I work as a backend engineer and software architect. My foundation is clean, maintainable PHP and, increasingly, high-performance Go and Node.js — code that has to stay fast and correct under real load. Most of my work lives in custom CRM and enterprise platforms, along with the integrations and automation that keep them fed with data.
I build every product end to end, and I care more about systems that hold up than features that only look good in a demo. If I take on a project, it's because I'm confident I can finish it properly.
What I can help you with.
Custom CRM & internal tools
A CRM built around how your business actually works — leads, orders, customers, reporting — instead of a template you keep fighting. Yours to own, end to end.
Go & Node.js services
Fast, concurrent services for the jobs PHP shouldn't handle — background processing, high-traffic APIs, queues and real-time work that has to stay responsive.
Scraping & automation
Data collection and browser automation that keeps running — scheduled scrapers and form flows built with Playwright + Go that hold up against anti-bot and Cloudflare.
Meta Ads & CAPI tracking
Server-side ad tracking done properly — sending real CRM events (qualified, won) back to Meta with the Conversion API, so budget optimizes on outcomes, not just clicks.
Integrations & bots
Connecting your systems to the tools they depend on — payment, messaging, WhatsApp & Telegram bots, third-party APIs — and repairing bots or integrations that have stopped working.
Rescue & full rewrites
Taking over a broken, slow or abandoned codebase — fixing it, or rebuilding it properly from the ground up — without losing your data or your uptime.
Shipped & running in production.

Case study →Erdsağlık | Health Call Center And Patient Operations Crm
ErdSağlık is an end-to-end operational CRM that manages the entire patient journey of a multi-regional health call center from a single screen. Going beyond a simple registration log, it establishes a seamless flow where incoming calls turn into relevant contacts, then into appointments, and finally into treatment and follow-up processes. The management panel displays the real-time status based on region, agent, and campaign, while authorization management ensures that each team can only see their own data. Thanks to its flexible structure, new regions, specialties, or call types can be added in a short time.

A short description of the system and what it needs to handle is enough — I'll reply with how I'd approach it.
